  Bred in Ohio, Shane recently came to New York with a one-way bus ticket and found himself living the dream of all stereotypically aimless writer-types: working at a coffee shop and sleeping on Brooklyn floors. When not working with coffee he is usually writing something about himself or food or music (or just, y'know, like, the world, man), most likely while drinking too much caffeine. He learned to make coffee in Sydney, AU.

  I’m an NYU student studying music and playing music outside of school as well. I also minor in dance. I work at the Chelsea location and I wouldn’t say I have a favorite drink specifically but I always go back to a soy cappuccino.
