Last night was our yearly all-store holiday party. Jon and I were a little teary-eyed to see 100+ amazing baristas there. 9 years ago, there were 5 or 6 of us in someone's living room. We've come a long way. Some of the people there have been with us 7 years or more. Only person missing who has been with us for the whole ride, was Amanda Byron, our Director of Coffee, who just had her first baby, Otis, a couple weeks ago.
