Josh Kim
Josh is barista at the Chelsea Joe, and sometimes geeks out on coffee at the Pro Shop.
He grew up in Orange county, California and moved to New York to study piano performance at The Juilliard School.
Josh moved back to California to teach piano and help with administration work at his dad's Music education business. He worked there for two years before moving back to New York last year.
Josh's favorite drink used to be an iced latte and he would get one from Starbucks everyday. One day he tried an iced latte from Joe and he was blown away by how delicious it was.
While he was living in California he was bummed that he couldn't find any good coffee shops nearby, so he ended up buying a Rancilio Silvia and started to teach himself how to be a barista, before applying to work at Joe.
Now his favorite drink is a macchiato or a cortado.
