Carly Pino, aka "Blonde Vandez"
Carly Karen Pino moved to big city circa de 2007 in search of an architecture degree and big city living. What she found was a lack of funds for school and a crappy retail job. After an epic (two year long) search, she managed to find sanctuary from the retail world with her love of coffee at a little place called Joe. Coming from Utah it was extremely refreshing for her to find that there was a place out there where people drink real coffee. Not just breve mochaccinos with extra caramel sauce and whipped cream that serve as fuel for the soccer moms in mini vans (not that there is anything wrong with that if that is what you're into). She is very happy to be serving some of NYC finest coffee, as she can now focus on more important things, such as the above mentioned degree.
