When Mikki moved to New York in 1999 the very first thing she did was canvas all the neighborhoods from Harlem to Brooklyn looking for a coffee shop to call home. She FINALLY found that home in 2003 at Joe. She has worked for some of the finest food establishments in the city and is fascinated by artisanal food traditions, as well as culinary history, and marvels at the fact that the first civilizations were built without coffee! She manages the Upper West Side Columbus Joe and is delighted to be a part of such a great family. In her spare time she plans "indie" weddings and fantasizes about having a backyard where her make-believe dog could play.
