Jessica Bertin
Jessica, one of only 4 company Barista Trainers, began drinking warm brown liquid disguised as coffee in middle school in New Jersey, and continued thus misguided into college. At Wellesley, coffee fueled her late nights of studying International Relations and designing and planning for a la Mode, the fashion design organization. Then, a semester in Spain opened her taste buds to real coffee, and upon return to the US she knew that her mission was to find, produce, and share that beautiful, luscious beverage. Jess is thrilled to be a part of Joe, and of the company’s philosophy and values. When not working with coffee, Jessica might be found drinking coffee: anywhere with her sister, between museum exhibits and rock concerts, while watching Elmo’s World or sewing a skirt.
