Lia Romero
My name is Lia Romero and I am a BIT at Waverly. I go to The New School University for Psychology and Musical Theatre. I have been in NYC for two years. I am an RA at the 13th Street Residence Hall and have been for a year and am the first trans female to be an RA at The New School. I am so excited and happy to be at Joe and have loved coffee ever since it helped me stay up to study for tests :) My mom used to always take me with her to get coffee at her favorite stops on the way to school and work in San Diego, CA where I am from and she has been getting her coffee everyday since. Her dream is to open up a coffee shop of her own one day. My goal is to become famous and make enough money to do that for her. My other side of the family has won a lifetime achievement grammy award and been knighted by the king of spain for their classical flamenco guitar quartet and classical composition. I hope to continue to work at Joe for as long as I can as I think everybody there is a great second family to have!
