Eric Heredia
Born & raised in the heart/ artery of the New York City latin community of Wash. Hgts. & later the Boogie down Bx. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a world of coffee outside that of Bodega & Bustelo. Once bitten by the bean, the fever bloomed, extracting this want for more knowledge. (loll.. couldn't help myself) 3rd oldest at Columbia yet probably 3rd youngest at heart, I find "playing" the role of "daytime Bartender/ Angel" (you know, the one that wants to help you out in the morning & truly cares about you getting to work.... as opposed to the "nighttime bartender/ Devil" that wishes for you to forsake your liver & boundaries for great time) as an acceptable challenge of skill & merits the attention not often credited.
When not at the library or park with my 3 year old daughter, or riding around the streets of this grand city via SilverSurfer (appropriately named single-speed), catching up on sleep or the "Trewest" essence of New York to cast as image (i like to take pictures), then you can find me @ Joe Morningside (Columbia). Look for the flipped up bike cap being chewed on by a sharpie or keep an ear out for BOOMING!!! S.O. shout outs from our brewbar..
